BAKED TUNA STEAK

 

Ingredients

Tuna steaks

1 tsp

Salt

1/4 tsp

Black pepper

2

Cloves garlic, minced

1/4 tsp

Red pepper flakes

1/2 cup

Olive oil

1/4 cup

Lemon juice

2 tbsp

Teriyaki sauce

 

Directions

1.  Thoroughly combine salt, pepper, garlic, and pepper flakes.

2.  Rub the mix on both sides of each tuna steak.

3.  Place 2 tbsp olive oil in a shallow baking dish and lay in the tuna steaks.

4.  Combine remaining 6 tbsp olive oil, lemon juice, and teriyaki sauce and pour over tuna.

5.  Baste with seasoned oil mixture 2 or 3 times while baking and turn the tuna over at least once.

6.  Bake for 30 minutes or until tuna flakes easily with a fork.
