1. In large skillet, sauté linguica, garlic, and onion in oil for 25 minutes.
2. Add mushrooms, tomato sauce, salt and pepper. Simmer for another 20 minutes
3. Add cooked macaroni and peas. Simmer for an additional 20 minutes
4. Sprinkle with parmesan or Romano cheese
5. Serve hot
