SHU FLY PIE

Ingredients

3 Cups

Flower

1 Cup

Sugar

1 Cup

Shortening or part butter or margarine

1 Cup

Baking molasses

1 Cup

Boiling water

1 tsp

Soda in water

 

Directions

1.     Mix flower, sugar, shortening, into small crumbs. Save 1 Cup for topping

2.     Add the remaining ingredients and mix.

3.     Put into 3 unbaked pie shells or one 9x13 greased and flowered cake pan.

4.     Dot with 1 cup of crumbs you reserved.

5.     Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes
